Meet the doctor
Mark C. Clayton, DDS
Dr. Clayton received his BS degree in Zoology from Howard University in 1992. He then obtained his DDS degree in 1990, also from Howard University. Immediately following dental school, he entered a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Howard University Hospital, which he finished in 1994. After his residency, Dr. Clayton began four years of active duty in the United States Army. He served as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Winn Army Community Hospital. He completed his military service at Fort Stewart and received the Army Commendation Medal as a Major in the United States Army. In 2002, Dr. Clayton started his private practice in Hinesville, Georgia.

Dr. Clayton has one daughter, Susan. His interests include golf, Corvettes and playing the piano and guitar.
